Dhaaga is not only the Pashmina Thread which is being used for weaving the Wraps and Stoles but, the deepest emotion between the artisans and the buyers because those are 100% handmade by them. Pashmina by Dhaaga has very special emotional weaving as it is from Kashmir, my home country India.
Dhaaga’s founders Aditi and Nachiket are from Dubai where I lived more than a decade, and I got the opportunity to buy their products in a fashion exhibition in London last month.
All the products of Dhaaga are exclusive, unique and very beautifully made that it was very difficult to make a choice. Eventually, I ended up buying 6 of them!!!
I loved the concept of this new venture and the deepest thought behind it to preserve the artisan’s traditional way of weaving and giving back to the society.
